Experience our uncommon style of mixing high energy and fun during a photo session at Shutterbug Portraits in Los Alamitos. We work to bring out the sillies and giggles that you see in your everyday life. Kids tend to really tighten up when they know they are being photographed. We get them to look past the camera and have a little fun. The results are amazing!We have an eye for detail and a superior product line which has set us apart from our competition. For nearly 10 years, Kelly Orr has photographed kids and their families. Known for her unwavering patience and love of children, she works to get the shots you have come to expect. Her talent has a recognizable style and the art she produces shows her willingness to never settle for just a smile. "Any kid can look in the camera and say cheese, just like they have been taught. We get kids to forget they are being photographed and have a little fun and it shows in the photography". Her work graces the walls of her clients homes and keeps them coming back for more. Your photo shoot is just the beginning!After your shoot our staff spends time preparing for your design consultation and ordering appointment. We will meet within you within a week of your shoot. Our ideas give you a place to start and we work from there to get the right prints for your home and gift prints for your family. We have a unique product line and show you how to make the most of your shoot.

Ready to take the plunge and do something you are truly passionate about? Owning a photography business is more about the business than the photography. Trust me, I know! As a business owner for nearly 10 years, I have made mistakes and spent a lot of time working out problems I wish someone would have just given me the answer to (maybe before I even knew what to ask!).Spend the day with Kelly in her Los Alamitos, CA studio. The day will be dedicated to learning the flow of a photography studio, branding, marketing, and resources (where to print, host your photos, etc). Learn how to price and sell your photography for profit. You will receive a detailed list of these resources along with 6 months of free hosting.You may also add a second day to your consultation and join me for a shoot. Plan on spending 4 hours with us. $150 for additional day.Please note, this is not a photography classes. It is a business class for your photography business. I am booked through February 2012. Our monthly classes are geared towards amateurs who want to learn how to take better pictures with their DSLR camera. We will teach you how to take your camera off "Auto" and use other modes that put you in charge of your camera. This is a "hands on" class. Please bring your camera, lens, charged battery and a camera card.Our next class is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4th from 6pm to 8pm. The class fee is $30 per person or $25 if you bring a friend.
